Hanna
Back on Hwy 9, proceed east 61 km (36.6 mi) to Hanna. Look for the giant grey goose at the town entrance, a tribute to the bird hunting so popular in this area. Hanna Pioneer Village & Museum presents a ranch house, country store, church, hospital and CNR station, old-time cars and steam tractors. Daily 10 am - 6 pm in summer. Admission charged, 854-4244. Prairie Oasis Park by the Sheerness Power Plant offers water recreation, camping and a wildlife sanctuary. East of Hanna 50 km (30 mi) and south on Hwy 884 at Youngstown is Blood Indian Park, another spot on the prairie known for rainbow trout fishing.
